“Are You Considering a Food Service Management Company” Brochure Now Available!
SNAPa and the PASBO Food Service Committee have created a brochure entitled “Are You Considering a Food Service Management Company?” This brochure was created to guide the district decision-makers when they are considering contracting with a food service management company to make sure adequate consideration is being given to retaining a self-op program run by school district employees. Administrators and business officials need to be aware that the school district remains responsible for the food service program and needs to retain a high level of involvement to be sure the program is being operated in the best interests of the districts and the students. The next time someone in your district mentions “management company,” be sure to give them this brochure so they know contracting for the food service program isn’t the easy way out. Click here to download the brochure or call the SNAPa office 800-929-7737 to request a printed copy.
